Your alarm goes off. You’re jolted out of a deep cozy sleep. The last thing you want to do is get out of your warm bed and exercise. Ugh.

But then you remember – your bestie is waiting for you. She means the world to you, and even if its ok to let yourself down this morning – you’re NOT going to let HER down. (And BTW – please don’t let yourself down either ❤️)

You’re up, you’re dressed, and you have to admit you’re pretty psyched to be going to this class – AND you get to spend time with your friend! Bonus!

After the workout, you both feel awesome! You stop for a quick tea or coffee. Share a laugh. Then on with your day – feeling WAAAAY better than if you had chosen to stay in bed a few hours ago.

AMI Right??

According to an article – ok well in truth the internet is flooded with articles about this – but I digress – This article caught my eye – here’s what it says:

“According to research from the University of Scranton, 92% of people who set New Year’s goals don’t achieve them.

A few years ago, the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) found that you have a 65% chance of completing a goal if you make a commitment to someone about it. That’s not bad! And it certainly supports the idea that accountability is crucial.

But the research didn’t stop there. Incredibly, it showed that you can boost your chances of success up to 95% if you have a specific accountability appointment with a person to whom you’ve made a commitment.”

Soooo – c’mon everyone!! Grab a friend and get healthy together! This works with exercise, healthy lifestyle habits, or a nutritional goal!
