|Jill is a registered yoga teacher who came to massage through the practice of yoga. It was during her teacher training that she discovered a great love of anatomy and physiology, as well as the healing power of touch. Jill’s understanding of alignment and movement coupled with the importance of the mind-body connection allow her to treat her clients in a caring and individualized manner.
Jill enjoys using her yoga training to incorporate stretching and breath work into some of her treatment sessions, offering clients a full-body approach to reducing tension, stress and pain.
Jill has a B.S. in Geophysical Science from Fitchburg State University, and is a graduate of the Cortiva Institute, where she gravitated toward myofascial release, sports massage and Swedish /relaxation massage. Jill teaches and practices Vinyasa and Hatha styles of yoga, focusing on the pairing of breath with movement. Additionally, Jill enjoys teaching yoga workshops at the Brandon School as part of the institution’s Sensory Integration Program, using the practice of yoga to help boys and young men express themselves through physical movement and the exploration of the mind-body connection.
In her spare time Jill enjoys skiing, traveling, photography and cooking.
