|Annie is passionate about empowering her clients to maintain a strong connection between mind and body as a path of wellness. Her experiences and training over the past decade in the Healing Arts, include: a BA in Psychology, which she utilized as a Residential Counselor for teenagers struggling with mental health issues; several years of intensive training and teaching of a Korean style of Yoga and Energy healing; and as a massage therapist trained in Swedish, Deep tissue, Sports massage, Neuromuscular, Myofascial and Acupressure techniques. As a Mother herself, Annie is also thrilled to be certified in Prenatal Massage, and considers it an honor and a privilege to work with pregnant women and be a part of their support system during this important and pivotal life stage.Annie combines her training and modalities to effectively work with people seeking to address specific issues such as chronic pain, stress, anxiety and depression. She is able to work deeply and provide healing relief as she creates a wonderful therapeutic environment where each client’s unique goals can be addressed and supported while strengthening their mind – body connection.
Annie is also offering private and small group Yoga Instruction. Annie’s current teaching is a blend of her background in a Taoist based Korean style of Yoga and meditation, and her current practice of Vinyasa. Annie believes that combining regular Yoga and Meditation practice along with Massage Therapy is an extremely effective option for many clients reachtheir health and wellness goals.
